Healing the planet one person at a time
After saying the rosary, I want to record a few things that came out through it. That phrase, “And lead us not into temptation but deliver us from evil” lit up this time. I was seeing it in the light of current events, and our need to control in order to protect ourselves. We’d never be led into something bad by Spirit, right? Well many people think of suffering as something bad. So some of this interpretation is influenced by one’s perspective. What I see as bad, Spirit knows can work for good although it hurts me temporarily.
So being led into temptation. . . what is that? Well, one temptation would be to seize control. To feel that I am alone in this and if I do not protect myself, no one will. It cuts out the Divine awareness, or that which is actually my savior. Asking Source explicitly to save me from evil moves me from isolation into unity.
I love that my beliefs are shifting due to saying the Lord’s Prayer many times every day. We acknowledge that there is the Divine and that it has the intention to manifest all that It is here in this Earth dimension. And we ask it to do so, aligning our will with Its will.
We look to Source to provide us with everything that we need in the moment. This day, not this lifetime. We surrender our personal demands or needs and let Source not only identify what we need, but also to provide it.
The biggie as I discovered in my healing journey after the stroke and blood cancer: The way to clearing a pathway for Source to send all of this to me is up to me. Again, my will aligns with Spirit in my asking that I be forgiven for my own continual separations from It, with the fulfillment of this request being continent upon my release of anger and any other strong feelings I hold toward people who have hurt me. If I’m not an open channel, Spirit can’t reach me. This is the most important action I can take in opening myself up to the Divine.
Every day, as Paul said he did himself, we must die to separation or personal ego. We must open up to Spirit, and take direction from Spirit, and trust in it for everything we’ll need on our path.
When every one of us has done this here on earth, the intention set in the first sentence of the Lord’s Prayer will be fulfilled. And this is what we ask for before anything else — the healing of the planet one person at a time. May all souls reach up to Source and make this so.
